Composer, Performer & Lecturer
My career in music started back in the eighties when I owned and managed a recording Studio in Leeds, where I produced albums, demos, promotions, radio jingles and compositions for a variety of clients including the Yorkshire Arts Council, Wakefield District College, James Whale, Radio Aire and other local groups.
More recently, I have performed around the UK as a solo artist. I have been nominated three times for industry awards, twice at the GEM awards in ‘Best Solo Male’ categories and once as ‘Best Gospel Newcomer’ in 2003. I have written and recorded two solo albums, several singles and have recently released a mini-album inspired by the music and instruments of Africa called, Le Mal D'Afrique.
After a twenty year career in music as a singer/songwriter & producer, I have studied Music & Music Technology at Huddersfield, Specialising in computer composition, scoring for film and sound design. Innovative use of music technology has been at the heart of my creativity for two decades. Currently I am teaching music technology in Cambridgeshire.
